Most of our clients arrive with a system that still works but cannot be changed. An Access database from 2008. A desktop program whose developer has retired. A chain of spreadsheets that one person understands.

We take the existing system apart, write down what it really does and how staff really use it, then build a replacement that covers everything the old one did plus the things people have been working around for years. Your data comes across with it.

Database Design and Migration

Good software starts with the data being organised properly. We design the structure to reflect how the business works, make changes to a live database safely, and keep a full history of every change.

We have recovered data from Access files, SQL Server, spreadsheet exports and systems with no export function at all, including MR8 round files. If your data is locked in an old system, we can get it out intact.

Clear scope, clear price, ongoing support

Scoping visit

We come to you, watch the work being done and go through the current system with the people who use it. You get a written proposal with a fixed build price. No charge for the visit.

Build fee

A one-off fee for the build, migration, training and go-live. Paid in stages against demonstrated progress, so you are never paying for work you have not seen.

Retainer

An optional monthly retainer covering UK hosting, daily backups, support and a steady stream of improvements. Most clients take it. You can stop it with notice and keep using the system.
