I work directly with business owners to understand the real problem before writing a line of code.
I'm an independent full-stack developer based in Nottingham. Since 2022 I've been building complete business applications - the kind that replace creaking Access databases, legacy desktop software, and spreadsheets-held-together-with-hope.
Before going independent I worked in automation consulting, cutting admin workloads by 70%+ through Power Automate, Jotform, and scripted workflows. I studied Creative Writing at AUT in Auckland - which turns out to be surprisingly useful when you need to write documentation that humans will actually read.
I work directly with the people who use the software. Site visits, screen recordings, sitting down with your team to understand how things actually work - not how the manual says they should. That's how you build something people want to use, not just something that technically meets the spec.
I'm one person, not an agency. You talk to me, I build it, I deploy it, I support it. No project managers, no handoffs, no surprises.

My Approach
If your idea needs a team of five and a year of work, I'll say so. If it can be done in a month with a spreadsheet, I'll say that too.
You see working software every week, not a final reveal after months of silence. If something's wrong, we catch it early.
I handle deployment, data migration, and training. You don't get dumped with a zip file and a "good luck."
